Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

What are the 10 flies you would not leave your house without?

tomfly

The only thing left should be foot prints.
My fly preferences have changed over the years. Like everyone else I have a multitude of patterns in my arsenal most are very specific to insect activity at that particular time of the year. When conditions are tough what are your 10 go to flies?
For me it is:
The gold ribbed Hare's ear nymph , The prince nymph, The RS2, Olive Woolly Bugger, White Marabou Muddler, Picket Pin, Elk hair Caddis, Adams, The Stimulator and The Griffiths Gnat.

Good to hear you'd leave your stupid CASED CADDIS at fuckin home.

Why FILL YOUR FLY BOX WITH SHIT?

PEACE OUT, MOFO.

It depends on what season your referring to but generally speaking here is my list.

Pheasant tails, rs-2, rock worm, wooly bugger, scuds, royal coachman, sparkle pupa, hares ear nymph, zebra midge, and the G.O

During the summer time I wouldn't be caught dead without terrestrials.

The Pheasant Tail Nymph is my favorite pattern of all time. I carry about 100 in my fly box in sizes 12 to 22. I like scud hooks for the smaller sizes.
Prince nymphs, Stimulator, Adams Parachute, Black Woolly Bugger, Mudler minnow, Partridge and Orange, RS2, Rainbow Warrior, Rusty Spinner.

The Golden Oldie, Trout bane, diamond back U.V. high test scud, high test hares ear, floating pheasant tail nymph, no hackle caddis, improved zug bug, black ant, peeking caddis, U.V. hares ear softy.

That was tough, seeing i dont use a lot of patterns. I really had to think about that one.

Great idea there, shows you're thinkin out of the box. Besides RS, I'd bring (in alpha order) AK, Broadheadscreek, Brktrout, Denlon, GLech, Jake, Jaybird, GLech, and oh yea, if I have to, the Beatle. Then I'd use whatever they're using.
