Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

Westchester Fishing Guide

also consider Rob Lewis of Angler's Den up in Pawling. Great guy, tyer and fisherman. you can see some of his flies at robsrealistics.com

The TU book is a good choice, although the information in my humble opinion is a little outdated in some regards. Eric Newman's "Flyfishing New York" has some information about the area, although It's limited. Gilmore's "Flyfisher's Guide to the Big Apple" talks about the area also, but I've personally never heard good things about this book and wouldn't recomend it. The best resource is a map, and a general knowledge of the hatches. Was there a particular river you wanted general information on?
