So, hypothetically speaking, if I wear leaky waders that have essentially bought the farm in less than two seasons - waders that I strongly despise at this point, and continue to wear primarily out of stubbornness, owing to the fact that several people on this forum specifically advised me against buying them...

you'd still just want to know the brand and model?

Funny you should ask...
I have two sets of waders.
The "old" set are Hodgemans (leaked once, but the patch is holding).
The "good" set are Red Ball Masters, that I upgraded to in the late 1970s (never leaked).

You have to learn how to take care of your gear, or you'll be replacing it every 10 or 20 years.
