Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

Went to Van Campens yesterday, fished early from 7-9:30 due to the way our waters have been warming up recently. Usually stays somewhat cold all year, and it was yesterday morning, but wanted to play it safe anyway. Tons of bug activity, fish rising the whole 2.5 hours I was there. Lots of caddis, and I think I saw some light cahills. Decided to nymph, even though I would have caught more fish on dries. I wanted to fish the deep pools where those larger browns and rainbows are. Pretty good morning, landed 7, got all three species. Hit the pequest afterwards, picked up several ugly hatchery fish that fought like crap. Really reminded me of how much better wild fish are.IMG_0268.jpgIMG_0269.jpgIMG_0270.jpgIMG_0271.jpgIMG_0272.jpgIMG_0274.jpg

Let me know if you get any death threats for posting about a WTS (even a listed one). I got them for posting about the Pequannock's listed WTS section :crap::rofl::rofl:

that thread was ridiculous. How dare you post about a TCA on the interwebz?

An 11-12" wild brookie on a small NJ/PA WTS is a trophy for me - more rare than a 22-24" Wild Brown on the upper Delaware watershed.
