Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

users?

Dennis,

Since the recent changes, when I open up threads, I do not see the user names for each post. I do see the last posted user name from the home screen, and I see the users "text" and "avatar".

Not sure if it's something in my profile or intentional.

I see the username "Flyin" just to the left of your post. Near the top just above a picture of a striper.

Hey guys, try this - I did a little cut-n'-paste from a post Dennis made after some of us experienced similar problems back in August:

Some people may experience a few issues on the site since the upgrade. As requests come in, I'll work with you individually.
I've made a minor change to both of your settings that should fix the problem you're experiencing. In the meantime, if you guys clean your cache, that should help with any problems. If you're using IE, goto 'Tools' then 'Internet Options' then 'delete files'. A small box will pop up; please check 'delete all offline content'. This will clear your cache and make the site reload locally on your computer, with any new updates to the site. I would also recommend you to delete your cookies for this site. DO NOT USE "DELETE COOKIES" unless you know all of your passwords and logins for all of the sites you visit, otherwise you'll be contacting admins from all sites asking them for your password. How do you delete cookies only for this site? Follow the instructions above, but instead of clicking on 'Delete Files', click on, 'Settings', then 'View files'. A window will pop up. This is where your cookies are stored. Look for anything with, "njflyfishing.com' in it and delete it. Chances are that you have a handfull from this site. Remove them all. After you do this, the next time you come to njflyfishing.com, you will have to logon to the site again. (You can do this for anysite you're having a problem with).

Scott, thanks for the suggestion. Clearing the "temporary cache" did the trick for me. I did not have to even mess with the "cookies". Thanks, again.
John

hmmm, ok clearing the cache worked on this netscape 7.2 browser :)

Andre, for netscape go to
edit -> preferences -> Advanced -> cache

there you will see the clear cache button.

Did what you suggested. Can someone tell me why when I log out a condensed screen where I don't have to scroll to see all the topics across. when I log on I get a wider screen that I do have to scroll. how can I fix this? Same thing happens when I get rid of cookies but as soon as I log on wide screen again. Is it something you can fix from your end Dennis? Having trouble with posting pictures too.
