Route 17 Bridgeville construction?

What is going on here, anybody know? Every time I drive up to the Delaware there's been massive landclearing. Is there a casino finally going up? Seems as if a lot of pollution may be heading right into the Neversink directly below?

they are redoing the bridge idk weather they are replacing it or what. i was directly below the bridge right before the rain we just had and didnt see any damage. although i bet thats a diff story now

Route 17 has slowly been upgraded to the future I-88 (think I have the correct #). The highway will soon be 65 mph the entire way to Binghamton and beyond. Like anything else, you get some good with the bad.

I haven't upgraded maps to my GPS yet and get a kick out of new road sections where it looks like you're driving through the forest according to the dashboard unit. I noticed that last time I drove to the WB

I'm just looking forward to all of I-86 being 65 mph to flush out those annoying state and local NY cops that seem to make all their salaries and fringe benefits from writing speeding tix to anglers:crap: (nope, haven't been nailed myself because I know better, but I could cut off 30 min. from my trip if they let us move a little)

i believe they are going to replace lane by lane going to be a nightmare if it is in fact dont that way... the bridge is slated to be done 2014....
