Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

Went to Rockerfelers Dam on SBR and found a bunch of NO TRESSPASSING signs and one from the state of NJ stating it would not be stocked at all in 2012. Is the owner an asshole...is this permanant? Was a great spot for trout and smallies. Sign said the owner OWNED the BOTTOM of the river. What the F@#*!!

Keep your ass out!!! stop bitching, and fish the other multitude of public areas. Stop fishing so much, get a job, make a lot of money someday, and buy your own private section.

him saying he owns the bottom of the stream is correct. you can still float tube as long as you don't cast into any trees or disrupt the silt on the bottom, and you don't touch the land adjacent to the water.

Burn his house down? Blow up his car?? Piss on his tomato plants??? C'mon guys, isn't it going a bit to far messing with his garden???

This is a very true statement -- But -- In all actuality is it worth the problems that this could possibly cause?? It's a crying shame that land Owners have to more or less post their land -- Not only because of the LAW SUIT hungry people trying to make a fast buck because they were stupid enough to break a leg (for instance) But people also leave Garbage -- destroy shrubs and trees etc.etc. -- I think you guys get the idea -- This is what our Society has forced land owners to do -- It to me is really sad because 40-50 years ago most Land Owners didnt mind people Fishing and hunting on their land. Disrespect and money hungry IDIOTS ruined it for good Sportsman -- If I find a place that is posted I ask permission to access the land -- For the most part I usually get it -- I also offer to do some work for them to show my appreciation for the access. If they allow me access I try to leave the land in better condition then what I found it in -- What this means is -- If I see Garbage I pick it up -- If they take me up on my offer to to some work for them in appreciation (Which most haven't) I do not do it half assed -- I give them my best work possible.

Peace
Dan

Easiest way to fix this problem is to learn to fly. That way you can just hover above the river and not worry about touching the ground beneath it.
