Resica Falls Fishing

Hi All Pensylvania Fly FIshers

Has Anyone Fished Resica Falls this season yet --- I am a Charter Member there for MANY MANY Years -- Just havent gotten up there this season (Time Constraints WORK ARRRGH) and was wondering how goes the fishing this season

I used to fish there all the time myself but it just got too crowded for my taste. And once I got into an argument with a guy who was throwing corn in a pool to get the stockies into a feeding frenzy before tossing in his fly. Great sport :down: And it seemed that more and more each year guys were fishing without bothering to pay the $20 permit fee to the Boy Scouts. Much better choices nearby to enjoy a quality fishing experience IMHO.

I live on the Big Bushkill on the upstream border of the Fly Fishing water and its been OK as of late. Easton Anglers were pretty sparse in their stocking so not much has washed down, able to get 2-3 per outing but thats it. Still haven't seen another angler up in my parts, so I'd expect it to be better, but its just been off.

As for resica and below, its been packed this year, and I'm just waiting for the trout to die off from the hot water so I can get in there and harvest some fat Eels. The only 40 inchers I got last year were from Fossil Rock and Chapel, thats all I fish it for anymore.
