Picked up 3 bamboo rods in the last couple of weeks

A rare Heddon #10 dry fly rod pre ferrule designation system circa 1935-39 8ft 3 piece 2 tip #5 pics on bottom

A New DR Stone maxwell era Leonard 37H taper rod with great antiquing work done on the ferrules and reel handle. 7ft 2 piece 2 tip # 4 pics in the middle

Another new dennis stone rod built on his own custom taper with a light flaming done to the 7 1/2 ft 2 piece 2 tip for a # 3/4 line.ics on top. Now all we need are some rising trout

Very nice collectibles.

I imagine you were able to score all three for less than 500 or so?

I just sent in my deposit for another James Reid bamboo Spey. I had to replace the Riverwatch I sold.

New DR stone rods retail for 1095.00 for a hex and 1195.00 for a hollow built. I paid a good deal less then that. The heddon I am having assessed as to actual value.

I was very pleased to see the bamboo rods.....when I read the title, I thought it may have to do with the POTUS and Halloween....

I really like the look of the rod in the first three pics......

I really like the look of the rod in the first three pics......

The gale creek taper. Haven't received it yet but I love the looks of the rod and really want a 3 weight. Most of my rods are 5 weights. A 3/4 is ideal for the poconos when you plan on fishing dries

He was sitting at two years when I placed my order. Deposit is only required a year out
