Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!
rford, you must have a relly good time! Vonderfull fish. I wonder if all Rainbows look in Alaska like the ones you catched?I have never seen such a beautiful and colorfull fish. Can I ask what kind of fly did you use to cach it?
Hey great review !
My brother and I are heading there the first week of July 2008.
Looking forward to the big Kings and the Sockeyes.
We were up at the Lagreive River thru Arctic Adventures this past September... caught lots of sea run brookies and natives....trout that is.... wife might be upset if I was hooking the locals up there...lol
CTobias,
Any price is worth fishing in Alaska in my opinion. On Sept 3rd I will be doing my third trip to Alaska. This one is going to be a little different in that I will be fishing exclusivley for Rainbows on the Alagnak. Ralphs report was awesome and I cant wait. I will be floating the river for 7 days camping on the banks every night with Alaska Rainbow Adventures. Here is their website http://www.akrainbow.com/site. The trip is reasonable but once again you cant put a price on it in my eyes. Then again, Im very wealthy. HA HA Just kidding. Save your money and do it someday. As AKSkim said, look for my report. I hope I can match what rford put together. Later
