It was a genuine guess. When I was younger, The Guttata was a good early June hatch on the Musky. My first thought was; that it may be Dipterum.. The tail configuration is incorrect. I still think it is some sub species of Para

I'm not an expert, so are they the same as this, because this is what it is, at least what I was told by someone with a college degree.. and with the leg color and tails and size and time of year and location, I would agree..
If they are DC will one day send someone a triple taper fly line..it won't be ddluver though....
Nope, gotta look closer at the hind wings, wrong shape for needhami.....this stuff isn't always easy and there is natural variation within species just like with humans.
