I finally decided to add to my 5 wt arsenal.
I wanted a slower ( small stream ) graphite to supplement my ( really slow )
40 yr old fiberglass.
Several years ago, I test cast an Orvis Superfine Far and Fine 7'9" 5 wt 2 piece
and loved it.
I finally bought one and it came Wednesday. I got home too late to test cast it then.
I also bought a Lamson Litespeed 2 ( Series 1 ) for it, and have SA Trout WF5-F in Camo
to pair with it.
Last night, I test cast it out on the pool using my other Litespeed ( for the XP ) and
RIO Grand line. I am very pleased with it. Terrific feel and accuracy.
Look for a full test, pictures, and review to be submitted soon.
