Caddis
wanna be fly fisher.
I had a great day fishing the Mainstem of the Delaware. Fish were rising all over the place, all day, and non-stop! I managed to catch at least 40 of them. (that was a joke)
Isonychias, Caddis, a couple of Olives, and Sulphurs were sporadic throughout the day. It appeared that female trico's were in the air in the evening, but I put one on and no dice.
I had a blast with rising fish, catching some and missing more than I can count. The Delaware fish are trickywhich leads this river to be one of the most fun rivers on the planet. (my opinion).
My only complaint was that the wind was blowing at 20 - 30 miles an hour for most of the afternoon.
The following two photo's are of the same fish. Unfortunately, my batteries died on me early in the day so these are the only photo's I was able to take.
If you want to see a larger image, go to the photo gallery and click it there. The colors on the fish that I'm holding are way off because the flash did not go off.
