Were they Maui Jim's with gray lenses by any chance?
Did they look like these. He was fishing the beaverkill that day too. They don't look gray in the picture but trust me they were grey.

talk about having to lighten up, I took his post as an attempt at humor, but it probably should have been followed up with an "lol", or "just kidding",or "hahaha" etc....
