Fished the gorge yesterday, and managed 5 nice fish in about 3 hours of fishing.

By far my most productive day in the Ken Lockwood Gorge.

I had a little help from someone who knows that water well...

Clearly they would be two fish from another trip, or perhaps those you simply lifted from another site. Why bother?

Here are two more fish.

From yesterday, thank you very much.

I fished the lower section on saturday. caught a couple on the usual Pheasant Tail and Hares Ear.

Caught a few more on Chenille Micro Eggs (about 1/8" diam) and Johnny Utah's Ultra Egg.

Then fished the Pequest in the afternoon and it was all about egg's there too.

Rain rumor is Friday now. Fingers crossed.

Only five in 3 hours in the Gorge would make me break my rod over my knees and quit the game. The fish are stacked up in there right now with our low water and an egg pattern should take a fish or at least give a strike each drift:crap:

It's just that we expect more from the beetle. He has more invested in bamboo than his car by a 10:1 margin. Actually, the more I think about that beater car, let's go with 50:1.
