Ken Lockwood Gorge week day pressure ?

Plan on heading to the gorge on friday. Anyone been up there lately ? How would fishing pressure be on a friday? As I write this I'm realizing it is probably going to be raining. A little rain I can handle. Any info? Thanks in advance.

You ought to be ok on Friday. The crowds don't start until Saturday.

Especially if it is raining. I use to love going up there when it rained because you have the whole river to yourself. Just bring a jacket with a hood and your good to go.

Hey,
I went to the KLG on Monday and it was great. Was pretty much there all day and had no other fishermen to deal with until around 2/3 pm. There was a ton of bug activity but no real fish rising. We caught 5 or 6 nice fish though sticking with nymphing. We were using a dropper setup and it seemed they really went for a 14 or 16 bead head soft hackle pheasant tail nymph. Good luck!

You will be fine on fri --as during the weke it's fairly quite untill afternoon --however I'm in high bridge 1 mile from gorge & it pouring hard here now so get there early before it really starts to fly-i did very well in the area this evening as the presure dropped -

Wishful thinking on my part. I never made it out to the KLG. It poured the night before but was a beautiful day on friday. Unfortunately the wife could not take over my shift (watching the kids) in a timely manner. The tough luck of a flyfisherman. Thanks for the info. Spring is not over yet!! Tight lines!!!
