You will get different list from everyone who replies. Do yourself a favor and go to Shannon's Fly Shop in Califon and get their recommendations. They are on the river and have fished it for years.

I agree with Steve. Just go to Shannons and buy a bunch of flies and they will tell you whats up. Nobody on this site knows anything about catching fish.

Fish it this week with nothing other than size 14 bead head flashback pheasant tails and you would hook more fish than you imagined lived in the entire river. Like others said, hit the local fly shop in town and we'll take good care of you. Also, ten great anglers would give you ten very different lists of go-to flies and every one of them would be correct.
