Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

Good weather site

Yeah, thats been my personal favorite too. However, this spring the only thing they seem to get right is that it aint gonna snow for at least the next few days.

Another good one that a speaker from NASA recommended to me is www.dryday.com. This sight gives you the 30 day forecast and is 80% accurate at predicting days that are likely to be dry. It won't be all that acurate on the days it forecasts to be rainy, however, but if you are planning a trip and want to find a nice weekend to go, their dry day forecast certainly helps.

That NOAA site was sure wrong two weeks ago on Sunday. It said "slight chance of scattered showers, any precip will be light." I drove two hours up there and it poured hard as hell all day long.

My favorite weather site is
intellicast.com/. Really good radar imaging, especially the radar loops. I think they update radar imaging every 15 minutes or so.

The other nice feature of their radar is that in winter time, it graphically depicts snow/ice/rain lines, which weather.com doeesn't do. They're always "green".

Thay also feature local forcasting for almost every tiny little town there is, even some out-of-the-way ones.
