"Gathering" tying sessions

YES!!!!! It's official guys..........we got it. Tommy Rosio has given me the word, and we WILL be able to use the smaller of the two dinning rooms for nightly tying sessions at the Rockland House during the "Gathering." So, since a lot of you will be staying there, that'll make it real convieniant for you. They have great food there to, and a bar. And we'll be about as far away from the bar as possible, so that's good. You can bring your kids who might wanna get a lesson or just hang out with the big boys also. It should be np. I can probably get a few extra vises from the CFTG for our use if we need them. So bring your tying gear guys. mark............

Good Job, let me know if you would like me to give a quick fly tying demo on winged wet's. I was thinking June so maybe Yellow Sally's, BWO's and maybe an atractor like the Brookie fin or Fontinalis fin. Just some food for thought. I already know that RW and Monty would like a few flies tied up for them two not to mention fishing with me. I will join the group for about a third of the time for fishing. The other 2/3 of fishing will be up on the Willow. You know me, that water haunts me and beckons me always to return. I will however participate in nightly events, not to mention dinner. RW and Monty, it's time for the Black Turkey and Green Wisp wet flies. I think you will love these flies. These two patterns are real fish catcher's. Later guys

Hi Andy & anyone who's interested,

I believe a trip to the Neversink is planned for Thursday although I might go over there another day as well. Now no one has said anything about fishing above the reservoir (I have no experience there). Although the Gorge is beautiful, it might not be for everyone. Therefore, we'll probably fish at various spots downstream of the reservoir to Bridgeville. The river is generally accessible and wading is not difficult. No promise about 'lots' of fish and 'hogs'.

Andy, I hope you realize that the Willowemoc is calling a few of us as well as yourself.

Guys............well Allan first. Where the heck were you tonight. J/K i undertstand. You didn't miss anything anyway. Floyd showed his worm show again..........jeeze. He was even dancin' to the background music..........BAZAAR. Yes Tommy says we can use the back dinning room every night except maybe not on Sat. night, but that's our diner night anyway. So everything is set. Andy, it would be really cool if you could do a demo on wet flies for us, any night, every night, lol. Whatever is best for you. We'll be hangin' every night anyway. And Andy don't forget one thing, me, Allan, and RW got a thing about the upper Willow. We love it just as much as you do. And YES Thur. June 3rd is Neversink River Day, but we can go as often as anyone wants to. That's what the "Gathering" is and WHY we meet at the Roscoe Dinner each morning...........to decide these things. Hell, we could do the Gorge one day, the upper one day, and everything in between another day, whatever y'all wanna do. You know the Beaverkill is gonna be crowded anyway. Course there's always places to be where the crowds aren't. Oh, and last but NOT least. I talked to Scott of the Roscoe campgrounds and the Red Rose tonight, and he said the Red Rose will be open in about two weeks. Take that to mean a month, lol. But he did tell me to let everyone know to call and book reservations NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! mark.............
