Redington Wayfarer 9' 5wt 5pc - $100.00

This rod is really underrated. I sold my GLX to Dennis last year and used this rod exclusively for a season. Performance really depends on the caster, but I can put the backing knot through the tip top of this rod with the Wulff Triangle Taper. It's not as easy as with the GLX but consider the price difference. I am selling a nearly new rod, not the one I used all season. I was backpacking in Yellowstone and lost the butt section of my rod. I went to Arricks Fly Shop in West Yellowstone and bought a brand new rod and used it for the remainder of the week I was there. When I got home I contacted Redington and they sent me a new butt section for my original rod. The barely used rod is the one for sale.
St. Croix Legend Ultra 9'6" 8wt 2pc - $100

This rod was given to me as partial payment for a website that I created for a little local flyshop that is now no longer in business. It is a demo rod and has the word "Demo" on it. The rod has seen some use, but the shop was small and didn't see a lot of traffic. So it isn't beat on, like a demo rod from a big shop.

Before Sage bought Redington these were the top of the line Redingtons. After the byout Sage discontinued this series. I have used this rod on Cattaraugus Creek for steelhead. It is a great rod for any of the great lakes tribs or a great doublehander for salt. I have been wanting a Winston Doublehander, so I'm going to try and sell this one.
