Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

Accessories flyfishing products that you can buy elsewhere for half the price.

they don't even give you the box. Its just the tool pouch that hangs over the side of a plastic tub.

Do you have a link to the Home Depot version?

I was thinking about getting one of these to put over a storage bin in a drift boat. A plastic storage bin keeps everything dry when there is standing water on the floor of the boat. And it's way cheaper than a Patagonia or Simms waterproof boat bag.

Apparently there are people that are quick to post before they know what they are writing about. We're talking about the organizing insert, not the plastic tote, genius.

Haaaaa, burn.

i couldn't find anything other than bucket organizers n some of them cost more than the organizer above. I doubt there's anything for $14 that can compare. I want one.

Ahhh yes...I should read more slowly...it does burn

Here is one that is pretty cool...

BTW, the genius is sarcastic, obviously...

LU, you are striking out terribly. The organizer has to fit around any size plastic tote. The tote is the central foundation to the organizer. There are no known products at Homey Dopey that work the same as the Umpqua.

I disagree....you must be creative and resourceful....it can work.....

Jmoore, you might want to check out Eddie Bauers boat bag. Which sells for $150.

Your right you do need something with a water proof bottom and the plastic bins you can buy almost anywhere, and they come with a top. Without a top, getting caught in a rain storm will turn that high tech piece of flyfishing equipment into a low tech bucket.

I just use a five gallon bucket....as my seat too, if it gets a hole in it, I put a blue plastic tarp over it........no problem

The buckets are free..........we get pickles in them at McD's.........if you are interested, PM me.........

The five gallon buckets also have a gasket...it is connected to the lid (or seat shall we say)...Pickle juice never splashes out, and they are free!!!!!

Yea, and you can never get the stank of the pickle juice out of the bucket. I used to get mine from the dumpster of the WAZU sandwich shop up behind my shop.

Keep your flies in the bucket, you will get more strikes..:)

You can get the pickle stank out if you soak the bucket over night with hot water and light dish soap...but why would you want to?!!!?!?!!!???!

Or put them through a commercial dishwasher a few times........

Or just buy your $85.00 nylon pouch....

They were Mr. Pickle buckets and I would never buy a pouch when the milk crate I have in the back works just fine.

Does that milk crate belong to you, or did someone not get their deposit back..:)

And it isn't waterproof...I think you should seal it with a blue tarp and bungees....

Yea, Fin-Ite Farms.

The crate is wrapped in a blue SUV, as waterproof as that can be.

Did a little work this morning and put together this simple Umpqua like tailgate organizer. To make it waterproof I would add a black plastic contractor trash bag with a twist tie.

19.00 on Amazon. I had to think outside the box, and that process led me to the internet, and ultimately find this81bygqNdVRL._SL1500_.jpg

This is innovative! You should get a booth next to Umpqua at Somerset and market this.

After the cost of the vest, and the profit share to Patterson Pickle Co., you'll probably need to sell this for about $79.99 in order to turn a profit. Considering this one comes with the bucket, that is very competitive.

May have to change my avatar due to the jealous vibe im getting from some of these posts
