I know this is a shot in the dark, but would anyone know where this section of the BFB is around. Above or below 206 bridge? Thanks

If you have the picture why dont you know?

Regardless, I think its below 206 and below the next bridge and I think its when the water is real low!

My fishing on the BFB has been very limited. Been there twice and both times it didn't go to well. First time I forgot my license at home and the second time I slipped on a rock and hit my knee very hard, had to leave both times. Didn't take the pic myself. Found it on the net and wanted to try this section out. Actually, any section would be good. I have only been right around the 206 bridge and I can't even count them. Just want to finally get there and be able to actually fish. Thought this section looked nice but if anyone has any suggestions on where to go, I'm open to em. Thanks

Iam not 100 % sure, but its looks like a section in side stokes state forest behind steam mill camp ground, water is typ low, I fished this area a few times, not the best area to try, if you try below the 206 bridge you can do well even the area above bridge is ok, also if you continue towards SSF entrance from the bridge you can turn right at a pizza joint, not sure of the name anyway continue until you come to another bridge there is a dirt road on each side of the road eather up or down stream is good. Hope this helps, god luck.

I don't know if this is a quizz or not, but I have fished almost all public beats on the BFB. This picture was most likely taken in late summer during a drought. Look at the far tree with it's roots completely exposed. The base of the tree is probably a more acurate water line (just a guess). I have fished this spot dozens of times (I believe). If it is the spot I am thinking of, I have done well there in normal flows. If you walk downstream from this spot about 200 yards, there is a very large pool. It is below 206, a few hundred yards from the next bridge the river croses under after 206 (I think).

Above 206. Looks like it is a section just above Stony brook in Stokes. Okay during the spring and wet summers but it does go dry - and I do mean bone dry - from time to time which keeps trout numbers down.
