Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!
I'll be heading up to Buffalo tomorrow to visit my girlfriends father and sister for the weekend. I'm just wondering if there is any decent trout fishing up that way?
Not looking for exact gps coordinates, but a vague hint would be awesome!
Contact Nick at Oak Orchard fly shop. I live a little south of Buffalo. Everything is typically too warm this time of year for trout, but he'll know for sure.

Awesome, I'll have to give them a call before I head up that way!
I'm not exactly looking to fish in buffalo but hit a stream that's on the way there or on the way back. Might scope out the cattaraugus if I get time (if the female cooperates)...
The Catt from Springville to the lake (Steelhead water) is going to be warm... unless you want to fish for carp and maybe some smallies, etc... There may be trout water still cold enough on the upper Catt.
If you get skunked, head to the Bills game. Misery loves company.
If you have time bring the lady over to Grand Island. Its worth the visit just to stop at the Brick Yard Pub for food/drinks. Stop in at one of the State Parks on the Island and do some fishing.

Yea that's what I figured. I would only be scouting water for this coming steelhead season. Never fished it so I would like to get an idea of what some of the water looks like. Although, if temps are good up river I may be inclined to chuck a few flies.
