From a differnt fishing site. They claim 2 feet long and out of the lower SBR. Clearly a huge stocker but I don't know what species. It looks like a brookie to me be the colors seem way off. Thoughts?

Not my fish. I saw this posted somewhere else and I couldn't ID the fish. This does bring up a good question. I hardly ever keep fish but if I am sure the fish will not survive I will hit on the head hard and keep it. I hate when people let them slowly die on the bank. I have only cut Bluefish's throats when I could not find a large enough rock on the beach.

I say its a brown. Thats the color things get after a good bleeding and a couple of hours in the drink.

If I had to guess, I'd say a Chinook. I doubt it came from the SBR...

But cuttybrownbow sounds better anyway

It's a nasty pellet eater. Probably a GMO fish from Monsanto. I'd kill it and throw it in the disposal.
