Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

Eagle Hunting Club, Wanaque NJ

My Google skills seem to be slipping. Some posted signs ended up near a spot I fish often from the "Eagle Hunting Club, Wanaque NJ" But I can't seem to find any information about them.

I'd like to get in touch to find out their boundaries to avoid any issues. I think there's a section of public land sandwiched between these guys and another club downstream. Any info would be helpful in regard to the club or its members: I'm specifically curious for a contact phone or email or to know if their terribly tough

Drill down to the spot and you can find out here on the state's open public records tax map:

State of NJ - Tax List Search

It is exceptionally common for hunting and fishing clubs to overstate their boundaries and post more land than they control/own. I have no idea if that is the case in your situation, but tax maps don't lie. If you find they illegally posted, you can approach them to let them know of their mistake or carry a printed copy of the lot and block with public ownership in case they harass you as a trespasser.
