Big flat brook?

Anyone fish the flat brook this week? Wondering what the water temps have been like. I plan on fishing there tomorrow morning

Get there early the water temps are going to skyrocket with the heat on its way. Local streams are low and are going to heat up quickly time to find a tail water or spring creek..

Why not smallies? I hit the upper Musconetcong Wednesday for an hour and must have caught 20 smallies and sunnies. Only one was a larger 14" smallie, but it was still fun. They haven't moved to the riffles/runs yet and are still in quiet water.

Just returned from teaching at our youth Coldwater Conservation School on the upper Big Flat Brook and water temps climbed from 68 to 72 between Thurs. and Sunday mornings. Time to shut it down for awhile as there doesn't seem to be any rain or significantly cooler temps in the near term forecast.
