Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

Ben is a perennial favorite of my TU chapter. Great guy with excellent presentations. Ben's also quickly becoming a polished bamboo rod builder. Some of his early rods had excellent finishes, but still lacked a bit in joinery. The last couple of rods I saw of his were clearly better with his joinery/planing work (and I would have purchased one of his early rods if I had the $$). If you're in the market for 'boo, his are still a great deal and I'd expect to see Ben's rods run up in price soon if they haven't already. I cast a couple of his 4 and 5 weights and fell in love, but I must admit I am not a 'boo-aphyle.

e 4 of his rods and they are nothing but the finest 2 HI clones of the Prince 1 heddon 50 clone and a Diickinson 8013 clone. I have nothing but the best regards for Ben and his work. Nick

Brian,
Ben has been my "lead-off" speaker for the last four years in a row.
He always does an interesting presentation with some different perspectives.
Please join us.

Rich

Rich - I'd love to join you, but I'm giving 3 presentations to 3 NJTU chapters this week alone. And that doesn't include my own chapter which I still volunteer lots of time to in addition to the job. I've got chapter burn-out and need to keep my wife/family happy by being home at least once in awhile. Add in fall fishing at the Hook and for trout plus bird and deer season soon and I'm already pushing my luck :). Please tell Ben I said hello!
