Fellows:
Ben Turpin will kickoff the fall season by presenting his new fly tying program with demonstrations at the Hacklebarney TU meeting on Thursday Sept. 13 at 7:30pm at the American Legion hall in Whippany,
All are welcome. Please see Hacklebarney Trout Unlimted for directions.
Ben is one of the best local fly fishing guides, and is a very talented fly tier and speaker. Come join in the fun, and get some good ideas on how to tie some different flies that are stream proven.
Regards,
Rich

I thought Ben built bamboo rods...

Are there two Ben Turpins?

I have heard that there is a great bamboo rod maker named Ben Turpin.

But I've also heard that there's an imposter Ben Turpin that goes around doing fly tying demonstrations.

Which Ben Turpin is speaking at Hacklebarney?

It's all the same Ben. He is a great guide, but you have to wear a few hats to make a living in the fly fishing business.

I have Ben's bamboo rod #24. A 7'-6" 4wt beauty that casts like a dream (especially Ben Turpin custom flies).
