=Another Guide's Opinion of Spring 2015=

"You can observe a lot just by watching." Y. Berra
Good morning.

Bill Fraser, out of Hankins, New York, is probably the licensed guide that has worked the Delaware River system the longest - almost 30 years - continuously.

I have only been doing it for 21 years - continuously.

LaSorte and Schuler, both very knowledgeable guys, have been guiding on this system over 25 years but I think Bill has guided the longest.

His NYS DEC badge number is lower than mine or Adrian's

Anyway, Bill has a wealth of knowledge about this river and is also an honest person who tells it like it is.

His latest entry on his blog is below about his reflections about Spring 2015 on the Upper Delaware River system.

Upper Delaware Outfitters-The Upper Delaware River Valley offers some of the best fishing and hunting opportunities in the Northeast United States.

Tight lines.

As you know the bad news is there are many other guides who feel the same way.

As you know those of us that fish the system on a regular basis for over 20 years feel the same way. Horrible conditions for the fishery and aquatic insects + just plain old crappy fishing. I can accept the later but not the former.
