Anybody have a picture of this classic cane rod?
I've read a little bit about it and would like to see a picture.

holy shit I found something google doesn't have!
I have googled it and found nothing as well. No pics on clarksclassicflyrods forum either.
There are t&t catalogues that have pictures of their limited edition cane rods, but I don't have one and don't know how to get one...
This for me is more for historic and research purposes, as I am constantly trying to understand the evolution of the bamboo fly rod from the 19th century to the present.
Any help in locating this rod would be appreciated tho!
Marty, I have the 1991-1992 Catalogue, which depicts all of the following:
1979 The Tenth Anniversary Model
1980 One of One
1981 The Sans Noeud
1982 One of One
1983 The Fountainhead
1984 Kosmic Commemorative
1985 The Amabilis
1986 One of One
1987 The Jus' Swell
1988 One of One
1989 The 20th Anniversary Model
1990 au Naturel
1991 T&T Quad Commemorative

since I can't seem to post a link and haven't been granted access to do it by the moderator yet -- google search clarks classic bamboo rod forum. search for the fountainhead there -- there is a user by the name of blackhillsbill that has the catalogue with the exact model you're looking for.
heres a snippet from his post
there are confirmed owners of the actual rod that post there as well -- one may or may not have the fountainhead as his avatar. lots of pictures to be found there of some classic collectors items
GB, The fountainhead is the 4th one down in the left hand column in the 91-92 catalog.

Well... I posted a little intro with pics a week ago and it hasn't been accepted yet. Kinda would like to make a decent first impression before I start full on. I'll have more in a month when I get back up north to the lake for some smallies but if I can't post pictures there's little evidence to back up what I'm posting about.
a catch-22 as it were....
Impressive.
I appreciate it greatly.
I'm trying to make connections between some modern rods and their predecessors...
Thanks again!
a boob.
Nope ... nope... nope ....
Like on all bamboo sprouts it is a node.
Hope you don't talk like that in front of your children.
Not really GB, not at all.... You are just a poser who is trying very hard to brand yourself as a NEFF guru and afficianado of bamboo rods.... You are still a boob.
