Primaloft vs. Down

I went and read a little about this before asking the question. Down is better for keeping you warm, its lightness, and portability. Primaloft is better for keeping you dry but can't compete with the warmth of the down.

I ask the question here because who knows better about outdoorsman type of stuff than fly fishermen!!! So I'm curious as to what you use and why, and what conditions have you used your down or Primaloft jacket in.
