Wild bows on dries

It has been a crazy warm winter so far.....and I know that people have been catching trout on dries already.

Got on some wild brown and rainbow water Saturday and had slow action on nymphs until I felt a decent sized LBS crawling on the back of my ear. We switched to dries and had brisk action until it abruptly turned off. But no complaints. Hope it's not 100 degrees in April.

Here's a couple of pictures of the same fish. Both taken in the water, so it's hard to center it up.

The trout have been looking up on the Musky the past 4 days or more as well, taking LBS. The stones are already a full size 16 and getting bigger quicker than normal. Let's hope the Hendricksons are not blown out before May this year...

Thank you beetle.

Now if I could only handle the camera like Brk Trt.

He would have gotten that baby to swim into the center of the shot!

Sounds like a great day. Love catching a 'bow on the dry!
