It has been a crazy warm winter so far.....and I know that people have been catching trout on dries already.
Got on some wild brown and rainbow water Saturday and had slow action on nymphs until I felt a decent sized LBS crawling on the back of my ear. We switched to dries and had brisk action until it abruptly turned off. But no complaints. Hope it's not 100 degrees in April.
Here's a couple of pictures of the same fish. Both taken in the water, so it's hard to center it up.
