Tying the Simple Snowshoe Emerger

Here's a great fly that works well for trout sipping in little BWO's or midges that's easy to tie.

Give it a shot, I was out the other day in the snow and got 4 in the SBR above the gorge.

Yet you didn't call me to join you:)

I'm focused on deer right now. Besides, the blood thinner won't let me stay warm enough in fishing gear on real cold days like today, but I have enough hunting gear to stay warm while on stand. I would need wading boots at least 2 sizes bigger to jam enough socks and long johns in them right now.

Great pattern there, Matt!!

I really enjoy tying patterns like these, mostly because I can tie them up quick and simply.

It also doesnt hurt to have too many emerger patterns either!
