Lu, I think anybody who ties trout flies can tie these. It's just a matter of desire to learn and patience. I'm not a gifted tyer but I read a lot and fucked up a lot. Finally I can put something halfway decent on a hook. There are guys out there that will blow your mind with what they tie. Stuart hardy Klaus wogon and our very own Catskill john. Learning these will make tying trout flies a breeze.

I'm glad you are enjoying the fly. I also like to see other guys interest being peaked by salmon flies. Maybe in the future a salmon fly swap? Like6-10 guys but only two flies apiece then trade those flies amongst eachother.
