Here is a fly found in Ray Bergmans book "Trout" called The Telephone Box Dr. Burke. This fly can be found on plate 8.

The Telephone Box Dr. Burke
Hook: Mustad 3906 size 8
Thread: Danville 60 White for the under body & Danville 6/0 Black for the head
Tail: Golden Pheasent Tips
Tag: Peacock Herl from eye
Rib: Danville black floss rolled by hand while winding
Body: 2 strands Danville orange floss wrapped back to front only
Full Collar Hackle: Brown Hen Cape
Wing: Paired Mottled Oak Turkey
Cheeks: Jungle Cock
Head" One good coat of Griff's Thin, Two caots of Griff's Thick, One coat of Hard As Hull

The fly pictured is a fishing fly. I will post anbother pick when I tye one for show.

Good looking fly Andy ! I love fishing these late season when the beetles are around I think the fish take it as a drown beetle.
