Dr. Burke Winged Wet

Was cleaning off the tying desk last night and discovered two swan quills laying at the bottom of the heap. So I figured why not tye something up with them and here it is a Dr. Burke . This pattern is found in Ray Bergmans book Trout it is tied on a Mustad 3906B size 6 long low and lean .


Recipe

Hook Mustad 3906B
Thread under body white , Head black Uni 8/0
Tail Peacock sword
Body flat silver tinsel
Rib medium or small oval tinsel
Throat yellow schlappen
Wing white duck , goose or swan
W/ Jungle cock sides
