Fishizzle, I use worms but I'm looking to upgrade!
Went to Margaretville on Thursday afternoon and met a friend that lives there and fishes the upper East Branch for the most part. We usually meet at Esopus Creek but that was slow and the water cold. Anyway wei fished until dark and we each caught a couple of nice rainbows, me on a Dark Quill Gordon and he on a sulfur. He tells me that rainbows have come to predominate there now, when it once was primarily brown trout. He has fished it for about 40 years. I really wanted to use the Trans-Hend on those rainbows, but it was just too light.
