Pretty funny video out of Montana

Mocking drug use and illegal activity for a chuckle is very juvenile Mac......
Think of the children and post more responsibly.....I mean what if Rusty sees this video........watch the video on Mr.Hardy......maybe it will help bring you back from the dark side and return to good wholesome fishing. ...,:)

Huh? What was that? I had a needle stuck in my arm and wasn't paying attention........

Your too goofy to be an addict. Besides you pass out at the site of needles don't you

Luckily I don't pass out at the sight of a fish hook in a client's face. :) Had to push it through to smash the barb and back it out. I didn't tie on the fly or would have used barbless. He was a trooper and fished the rest of the day. Sh*t happens.

Our fearless leader has an easier way to deal with that ...

.....Dennis got to show off his excellent casting skills in some of the places we stopped to cast to rising fish. Well, maybe not so excellent. In his defense, I was sitting directly in his backcast and knew it was bound to happen sooner or later and should have moved to the back of the ship. At least I can say that Dennis gave me a birthday gift. A new piercing. I think I'll leave it there and set a new trend. Actually, it is still there and I plan on doing a little surgery as soon as I finish this post before it festers......

Ok..everyone missed that rusty considers himself a dry fly junkie......after all "a sinking fly is closer to hell"..

I'm still in shock at what Rusty posted in another topic this morning. A newb asks what flies to buy for the "hatches" in KLG and Rusty responds with "Fish it this week with nothing other than size 14 bead head flashback pheasant tails". This from the dry fly guy or die.

But I never said that I would be caught dead fishing one, did I? :)

As I am fond of saying, nymphs are a good first step for newbie fly anglers because it's more or less like worm dunking. That's why we use strike indicators, to slowly wean the newbs off bobbers and worms and to help them take the ultimate step to fish dries only. Nymph fishing is just a stage in the process and nothing more.
