Simms Travel Waders

sstasiak

Super Pupa
Has anyone ever used these waders? I need to upgrade my neoprenes to some breathables but am on a limited budget since I'll need to get boots too. I'm looking to spend about $250 for the waders and boots. I'd like to keep them lightweight so I can easily pack them into a hiking pack for travel. Anyone have any recommendations?

Know someone who bought the Travel waders last year. Loves them. The next price point up from them might fit your budget too. Can't really go wrong with Simms.

Although I am a big Simms fan if I were you I would look into the Dan Bailey waders. I have heard nothing but good things about their waders and feel that you will get the most bang for your buck with these waders. Their two entry level waders are the BareBone breathable waders and their leight weight waders. I am sure Tight Lines carys Dan Baileys wader Shannons just became a Dan Baileys rep but am not sure if they have their waders yet.

Hey Wylie

I visited the site and couldn't find any warranty info. Do you what their customer service is like??

Thanks

100% Satisfaction Gaurentee... they have the best warranty. IF you have any problems or are not satisfied in any way they will replace your waders at no charge.

SWEET....the BareBone breatheables are at a very reasonable price. I might place an order for a pair tonight.

Thanks

Dan Bailey also has some excellent tying materials... before you rush into placing an order with them look at some of their tying materials. They are very knowledgeable and run an excellent shop. If you ever get out to Montana you should stop by their store it will be an experience.

Got the Simms Ligthweight last year and love them. But here is another option - also liked the Patagonia, but the fit just wasnt right - Ramsey Outdoor in Ramsey currently has some on closeout for $99.
