Sauccon Creek ????

Left Allentown going to the Monocacy Creek monday around 11:00 AM. Decided to go through Saucon Park. At the north end of the park there were 6 P.F.B.C. employees netting what appeared to be dead fish just below the bridge. Wondering if anybody knows if they were electro-shocking, or was there a fish kill. Went to there web site and found no information, e-mailed them, but no response from them as yet.

Recieved an e-mail from the area fisheries manager this AM. They were electro fishing to assess the wild brown population in the Saucon. Got an invite to go out and watch them finish the survey.

He didn't give me what day. I would have to e-mail him to find out when. He did say it would be at the High St bridge in Hellerton.

Went to Lehigh University in the 70's and used to fish Saucon quite a bit (along with Monacocy). Pretty stream.
