Saco River, Maine

I have a chance to go fish around this river system. I have read some about it and have to take it with a grain of salt from where it comes. My time frame to go is open. Also what to go after. Maybe even some where else in Maine. Any information would be helpful.

I can't go during the heating season at all. I can't take days off from the start of heating season anywhere in the country. Canada sucks they start getting cold so early.....

Saco starts up in the White Mtns in NH were it is generally not very fertile. However, I knew a guy who got some real hogs night fishing. Most of the Saco in Maine seemed more like smallie water to me, but some browns were in the falls and rapids around Steep Falls.
