republican nominee

Failure can be a great teacher. Compare her 2008 campaign to this one. Wouldn't say she can't learn from her mistakes. I'll leave you with the rest of your statement unaddressed...only to say that I agree with part of it.

But I like Pete's takeaway better anyway.

I agree and failure has always been my personal greatest teacher. But she hasn't demonstrated she has changed paths after failures.

What did she really learn from 2008. In 08 the party rallied around a young black articulate personality. Hillary was broadsided. This time around the establishment is trying hard to quell opposition. Saturday night debates, highly scripted press engagements, a press core that is trying hard to protect her. She's the same person. I doubt she has changed one thing. Let's look at her tenure as Secretary of State. 6 years as the lead foreign diplomat for our country. What notable achievement can we point to. She's pretty much responsible for the debacle in Libya. The big reset button with Russia was a big failure. Her only reason for being the presumptive nominee is that she's a woman. Sorry she's a contemptible person who belongs out of politics and yet she is celebrated by the democrats. Amazing

i don't really like any of the candidates. i want to pull some social security reform on you old assholes. i'd also like to see an aggressively progressive federal income tax.

but just to demonstrate how easy it is to discredit a candidate on neff. check it out, watch this >>

the republicans are unqualified to be president. they've screwed up everything they tried to do. they've never even accomplished anything.

TOTAL BURN.

Hence why outsiders like Trump are getting all the attention.....

I take it back you are not a democrat. You are a raging progressive weenie.

Nobody is qualified to be president, least of all anyone who's arrogant enough to think he/she is...You have to know everything about everything.

The success. (or failure) of an administration, depends on how good it is at hiring advisers, and how good it is at taking advice.

Pete
I use to think the same thing. If you analyze events in history, This is usually not the norm. There are exceptions (JF, Reagan) but more often then not Stupidity runs from the top down. Intelligence does not flow from the bottom up.
Take Thomas Edison for an example, he had one of the most intelligent individuals that ever walked the planet , in Nickola Tesla working for him. History shows that Edison felt threatened by Tesla and instead of utilizing the smartest person on the planet. Edison shunned him. Tesla walked and history was written. The same is true with most people with power.

If you want to reform SS, or discontinue it, or make the benefits smaller, you should give me the option of getting all the money back I have paid in. If not it is plain and simply stealing. That money was never supposed to be touched, but now it is filled with IOU's...dirty fuckers

Governments your friend just ask beetle

Question. Hillary would be sitting in the same chair her husband got a hummer in and used a cigar for purposes other than it's intended use. How the fuck does that work?

It's Hillary's grand plan to get back at Bill.....she's going to try to screw the country from that desk instead of an intern....:)

Would anyone vote for Bloomberg on an independent ticket?

pronounced Mike 'baby-killer' Bloomberg....

No thanks I really don't see him as anything special and frankly too eager to legislate your personal choices.

Mac, clearly you can see that our nation's biggest and most vexing issue of the day is the size of the soft drinks Americans are consuming. You need to open your mind and learn to embrace the nanny state!

Republicans have fully embraced their racist core this year.

It's too bad for you liberals that the average American voter isn't buying the old "Trump is racist because he wants to build a wall" argument. But you just keep trying! :crap:

:):):)

(And no, I'm not a big Trump supporter)

It has nothing to do with the wall -- he rattles off racist quotes every day, I could find you 20 in ten minutes. His speeches read like a like fucking letter from simms to beetle.

Acting like a racist bigot is tactic he uses to get media coverage on a daily basis. It's funny, too, because he's probably not nearly as racist as he acts.

The sad thing is, he has to act like a racist hick to appeal to republican voters and their spouses/first cousins.

It's not racist to agree with his immigration policies under the pretenses of extending social welfare programs to illegal aliens, or losing domestic jobs to undocumented workers.

...But Trump wants to ban Muslims because they're terrorists and Mexicans because they're rapists and drug dealers.

It's comedy. Racist comedy.

(now for the obligatory "he attacked our guy so instead of defending him or addressing anything he said i'm gonna go on the offensive against the liberal camp)

It's funny because today I saw a video of Hillary being confronted by a young black lives matter protester and she went from polite to nasty in about 45 seconds. I look at the Democratic Party and I see a party that is trying very hard to walk Hillary into the nomination at all costs. In other words pay attention to your own party cause you got plenty to worry about on your side of the aisle.

At the coffee shop?!?!?!

lolol, that was in minnesota and the girl went to my highschool..

I actually found two of Hillary being short with black lives matter protesters, but she doesn't say anything bad about them or their movement she just seems pissed off that she's getting interrupted.

The big difference here is that Hillary loses support with democrats when she lashes out at black lives matter protesters.

Trump gets a huge applause and a jump in the polls when he does it.

The full video is here, and I encourage you to watch it.

For what it's worth, my candidate of choice would be Bloomberg.

Ive seen it moosekid. I hate trump but don't be naive. Hillary is being walked up the aisle to the nomination. Her victory speech last night she went out of her to state we need more love and kindness but I guess that doesn't apply to black folks who challenge her on a legitimate comment she made. Far from losing support she has the congressional black caucus backing her all the way. She's a pathological liar and while I'm not a fan of samders either he sure is getting railroaded by the DNC. Just today DNC chair Debbie Schultz signed her name to legislation gutting protections for low income Americans who use payday lending services. You know minrorities who don't have bank accounts. So like I said democrats have proven to be full of crap for quite some time.

The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge natural to party dissention, which in different ages & countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism. The disorders & miseries, which result, gradually incline the minds of men to seek security & repose in the absolute power of an Individual: and sooner or later the chief of some prevailing faction more able or more fortunate than his competitors, turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation, on the ruins of Public Liberty." — George Washington, September 19, 1796

How's about you vote for ANOTHER PARTY!!!

They are out there...research them and make a meaningful choice...

For example. but not meaningful, maybe......Ron White announced in 2015 :O

How about someone creating a Hillary and Donald fly, maybe something yellow with bushy hair for Donald and something like a nymph in tweed clothing for Hillary as starting ideas.
Something designed to hook a sucker.

Since I was old enough to vote, there were two occasions when I voted for a Democrat because I though the Republican candidate was too extreme. I was horribly wrong both times.

I thought Goldwater was too much of a warmonger. It turned out that Johnson got us into an unbelievable mess of a war that tore apart the nation. If you were a dove, you hated the way he escalated our Vietnam involvement. If you were a hawk, you hated how he mismanaged the conflict to ensure that we couldn't win.

I was afraid that Reagan was too conservative. It turned out that the Reagan years were the best years of my life. He did not split the country, as I had feared, As a matter of fact, his popularity made him one of the few modern presidents who was able to keep the Presidency for his party past his own terms.

If Trump gets the nomination, I have some hard thinking to do... :toilet-humor:

I feel similarly. I'm not currently a Trump supporter, but the Trump Train is rolling downhill fast and it is hard to see anyone stopping it. With the news that a Hillary aid has agreed to an immunity deal, things are not looking good for her. Of course, there is a small chance this aid will name someone other than Hillary in this email mess such as Huma Abedin, but I think that is less likely than Hillary herself.

A "scented" offering is not a fly.
Anything resembling someone arrogant enough to think he/she is qualified for political office, will definitely emit a strong odor.
