Rahway river Millburn

Interesting Catch on the Rahway River in Millburn. Looked like a nice brown and I assumed it was stocked somewhere further up the river. It was caught by 78. Had the fins of a wild fish. If anyone wants to know where just pm me.

It is stocked brown trout. They stocked a few hundred in the West Branch of the Rahway river. The patterning on that fish does hint towards a tiger trout but a lot of the state stocked browns looked like this. The fins are looking good because it was stocked almost 3 months ago now.

It does look very similar to this tiger trout. http://media.centredaily.com/smedia/2013/07/21/09/13/bS4aa.AuSt.42.jpeg I guess there is no way to be certain. I did see some smaller sub 6 inch trout in this area as well. But I have read on here that the Rahway river in this area was deemed to be incapable of holding wild trout.
