My dad and I took advantage of spring break last week and fished around for 5 days.....on the way home we stopped at some smaller water we like to fish and were lucky enough to find this guy sipping in less than a foot of water. Colors were great on this guy

As for the week of fishing, wind was tough but we worked hard for 6 fish a day give or take with some days better some a little worse. Wind was tough, the key was ditching the boat and wading around in the more sheltered areas. If you have a boat/raft and are thinking of heading up with it, think twice before floating if its windy. It really doesn't serve as an advantage in these low flows/windy conditions.

that was a hell of a day on the water, thanks for coming up. that ended up being the best day up there by far, the hendricksons actually seemed to be dying in numbers by the end which is a scary thought for the first week in april. I'll see you up there the weekend of the trip
