Ponds near Lake George

Most of you have probably seen my other post on rivers near lake george. I'm camping at this place called lake george escape camp grounds?? (I think that's the name). I believe it's right on the Schroon River. I'm trying to hit some of the ponds up around there but don't know what's close by. Can anyone familiar with this area give me the names of any ponds or directions to get to them would be even better being that I've never fished this area. Also, what kind of fish can I expect to catch in the Schroon??

Thirteenth lake is a nice fishery. There are also some ponds to hike into in that area.

I used to fish Thirteenth every year when I lived in Syracuse.

You can catch browns, brookies, rainbows and landlocks.

The upper stretch of the Hudson or the Indian river can also have nice fishing. Be careful of the water release for boaters.
