I plan on being in Pittsburgh the last week of June. How might the fishing in the Oil City area be? Will the delayed harvest be over and where is the closest guide service? Are there any wild streams in thet area? Thanks

AKBill, I grew up in Pittsburgh, I'm not real familiar with the Oil city fishery. I can't remember the name of the creek that flows through town but there is one. If you go to PA fish and game online they list some of the wild and stocked trout waters by county. With a little travel you could get to some good streams. As for a guide check International angler's web site there in Pittsburgh not Oil city but they may be able to help you out. If need more info. let me know.
