Phillipson Pacemaker

WBDluver

Official NEFF pot stirrer
Gentlemen, (i use that term loosely) I have a Phillipson Pacemaker that i was going to restore but now i have neither the time or ambition. I has a second tip but is missing about 2 inches from it. It is 9ft 3 piece with rod tube and case. $100

What weight is it? I might be interested in it. Can you post some picture.

I have a Phillipson Pacemaker

First of all, I'm sorry to hear of your heart issues. Isn't there a class action lawsuit you can join to receive just compensation for your troubles? Take care, WBD, we're all pulling for ya...

Well everybody but Grobert, but ya know, it's Grobert...

Cretin! I will dig through my closet and see if i have any Zebco's that are more your style

I've got an 8 1/2 foot Pacemaker for a 6wt line that was made in 1952. Phillipson made affordable rods that are excellent fishing tools. What are the issues with the rod (besides the 1 short tip) that need restoring?

Thanks for the link

Its a classic.

I could write a treatise about fly fishing collectibles.

Suffice it to say, the longer the rod, the less desirable it is.

Thats why I love boo - after years of ridicule, its nice for a change - when people hold my rod, and examine it closely - they admire it, don't want to let go of it, and wish they had a small one just like me.
