Orvis Western

I have an 8'6" 6wt Orvis Western rod that I found a few years back while coming off of a stream. Since I have no use for it, I'd like to sell or trade it for something, but don't know what its value might be. The rod appears to be just about brand new and is in excellent condition.

Any info about this rod is appreciated.

Steve if you want to find out information on the rod you can contact Orvis directly. They will be able to tell you alot of info on the rod probably even who the original owner was.

Already contacted Orvis when I first found the rod...nobody registered the warranty for that serial#. Never asked for info about the rod itself...I'll give it a shot.

You didn't happen to find that there rod on the East Branch of the Delaware, did ya? My wife left a six-weight Orvis there a few years back. If you did, I can PM you with more of the particulars...

Sorry, it wasn't in the Catskills...found it on a river in the adirondacks.
