Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

David, I started my fly fishing on Esopus and still love to use wet flies myself. Look forward to seeing some of yours.

I agree, wets have always worked for me …i love tying them and fishing them i just do not have interest in drys, never been my thing

Greetings. New member here, born, raised, and still reside in Cape May County. My regular stomping grounds are usually Tuckahoe Lake, Lake Nummy, and Ponderlodge Pond. Without any trout streams close to me I fly fish mostly for panfish (sunnies and crappie) and small largemouth bass, but I'm thinking of targeting chain pickerel, white and yellow perch, and some light saltwater. At least it keeps my fly casting technique tuned up! I tie my own flies (not very well) and from time to time, my autistic teenaged son will sit at the vise and I'll teach him the basics.

closest thing for trout you have is the Tom's River. I have a hunting shack in Dividing Creek and fish the marshes for stripers, you ought to give the Dennis Creek area a shot for that. There are fish in those creeks all year round.
