A Polinger

Just finished a River Runs Through it!
I am putting together a fly box for a friend who is new to fly fishing. What are your top 5 flies that you think are a must have for NJ?

Thanks,
AP

1) Olive Wooly Bugger (size 10)

2) Bead head Prince Nymph (size 14)

3) Tan Elk Hair Caddis (size 16)

4) Black Parachute Ant with a bright orange post (size 16)

5) Ausable Wulff (size 14)
(Use the original Fran Betters recipe, not that cream bodied imposter you sometimes see in fly shops)

It's always a lot of fun when you get to help someone new enjoy this sport. You're a good friend.
